Street Department Commissioner Joe Beikman asphalted a ramp at Washington and Monroe Street to assist the resident using his wheelchair to cross the street. Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported twenty (20) calls, six (6) impounds, and one (1) returned. Park Superintendent Brent Callahan reported the Bike Rodeo has been moved to Saturday, April 27, 1996 at 9.30 A. M. The Park Board will have a special meeting on Monday, April 22, 1996. Clerk-Treasurer Sandra Perry presented to the Town Council an agreement signed by the Morgan County Council concerning the disbursement of the remaining Economic Development Tax funds to the Town of Mooresville in the amount of One Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-two Dollars and no/lO0 ($133,972.00). The Mooresville Town Council signed and returned the agreement to the Morgan County Treasurer. Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Hensley to approve the bills. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business before the Mooresville Town Council at this time, motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Hensley to adjourn. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall for the purpose of discussing and approving bids on the construction of the building at 104 West Main Street. Council members present were President Mark Mathis, Vice-President Andy Pygman, Toby Dolen, Bill Wright, and Jim Hensley. Councilman Pygman informed the Council Dick Newcomer had inquired as to the date the Town of Mooresville would be moving the Judge's chambers from Pioneer Pointe. Mr. Newcomer has people interested in renting beginning in September. The Codicil agreed they could give Mr. Newcomer a date the second meeting in ~y.
