325 <br /> <br /> July 22, 1996 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in a special meeting on Monday, July 22, 1996 <br />at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Council members present were President Mark Mathis, Vice-President Andy Pygman, <br />Jim Hensley, Toby Dolen, and Bill Wright. No members were absent. <br /> <br />Clerk-Treasurer Sandra Perry presented the 1997 Budget for advertising purposes. <br />The Budget will be advertised high. Pre adoption meeting for the Budget for <br />1997 will be Monday August 12, 1996 at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Final Adoption meeting for the 1997 Budget will be Monday August 19, 1996 at <br />7:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman D_olen , second by Councilman Wright to approve <br />the advertisement of the Budget for 1997 as read. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Council at this time motion <br />was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Hensley to adjourn. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be <br />Monday, August 5, 1996 at 6:30 P. M. at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Monty <br />Gardner of HNTB will be asked to attend that meeting. A tour of the Waste <br />Water Treatment Plant will preceed the meeting. <br /> <br /> Presidfeht <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Clerk-Treasurer <br /> <br /> August 5, 1996 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Monday, AuguSt <br />5. 1996 at 6:30 at the Waste Water Treatment Plant for a tour of <br />the facilities, then at 7:30 for a regular meeting. <br /> <br />Council members present were President Mark Mathis, Vice President <br />Andy Pygman, Toby Dolen, and Jim Hensley. Councilman Bill Wright <br />was absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Hensley <br />to approve the minutes of the July 22, 1996 meeting. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Monty Gardner of HNTB was on the agenda to speak at our meeting <br />but was unable to attend due to sickness. <br /> <br />Jerry Wagner of Glenwood Development Corp. addressed the Council <br />on the possibility of the Rooker Farm being annexed into the Town <br />of Mooresville should he be able to buy the farm for a housing <br />addition. <br /> <br />The Rooker Farm is 175 acres and Mr. Wagner would have 230 lots. <br />The lower end of housing would be 1600-1800 square feet and be on <br />.5 to .6 acre lots. The upper end of the housing located to the <br />back of the property would be 2.000-2500 sqare feet and be on 1 1/2 <br /> <br /> <br />
