Three properties are located between Rooker <br /> Run and the Rooker Farm. Town Attorney Tim Currens advised Mr. <br /> Wagner to find out if the three property owners would object to <br /> being annexed into the Town of Mooresville to provide the contiguity <br /> need for annexation. Also check with Building INspector Joe Beikman ~-~ <br /> on the cost of sewer impact fees. <br /> <br /> Street Commissioner Joe Beikman asked the Council about purchasing <br /> liquid calcium to save on the salt usage this winter. The Council <br /> will decide at the August 12 meeting. <br /> <br /> A discussion was held concerning the televising of the sewer lines <br /> that has been done. A decision will be made by the Town Council <br /> at the August 12 meeting as to the corrections in the lines that <br /> can be made. <br /> <br /> The Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported forty-four (44) <br /> calls, nine (9) impounds, and six (6) returned. <br /> <br /> Park Superintendent Brent Callahan reported the Park's revenue for <br /> ~he summer was down due to the amount of rainy days in the early <br /> part of the season. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Hensley <br /> to approve the payment of the bills. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Council at <br /> this time, motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman <br /> Hensley to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The next scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will <br /> be Monday, August 12, 1996 at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall for a Budget Pre-Adoption <br /> hearing. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Mark Mathis, President, Andy Pygman, <br /> Vice President, Jim Hensley, Bill Wright, and Toby Dolen. No <br /> members were absent. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councilman Dolen <br /> to approve the minutes of the August 5, 1996 meeting. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Kenny Cochran from Moore Restoration appeared before the Council] <br /> to request permission to block off Harrison Street west of South <br /> Indiana Street to do hail damage repair to the Church. This would <br /> last 2 - 3 days. The Council agreed to Mr. Cochran's request and <br /> no motion was needed. Mr. Cochran also asked about his bid to do <br /> the hail damage work for the Town properties. The Council has to <br /> get two more bids before the work is awarded. <br /> <br /> <br />
