MOORESVILLE BOi~RD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES <br />#EDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2996 - 7:00 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE ToWN H~T~L <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met for their <br /> October 16, 1996 at <br />regular scheduled meetin~ on Wednesday, <br />7:00 p.m. at the Mooresvllle Town Hall. <br /> Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals members present were <br />....... ~el Don Barrv, Michael Young and Tom <br />ALan ~ramer, v~, ~,~ , ~ <br />Warthen. Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals attorney <br />Timothy Currens was also present. <br /> .Motion was made by Don Barry to approve the minutes as <br />submitted of the September 18, meeting, second was made by <br />Michael Young. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br /> Martin James/Arvin Hopkins requested from the board a <br /> variance for a sign setback from 60' to 22' and also a sign <br /> size variance from 100 square feet to a maximum 170 square <br /> feet. Attorney Tim Currens presented the findings and facts <br /> on the requested variance. Motion to approve the variance <br /> with a 10' ground clearance was made by Don Barry, second by <br /> Michael Young. Motion passed 5 - 0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the <br /> Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals at this time, motion to <br /> adj?urn was made bY0~om Warthen, second by Vern Kimmel. <br /> Motion carried 4 - <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville <br /> Board of Zoning Appeals will be held Wednesday, November 20, <br /> at 7:00 at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />CHAIRMAN <br /> <br /> <br />
