<`J V <br />Attorney Steven Litz representing Donald Fischer, DDS, requested a rezone of 11$ North <br />Indiana Street. Mr. Fischer's dentist office is located at 124 North Indiana Street. He <br />wishes to put a parking lot at 124 North Indiana Street and he realized he would have to <br />go thru the BZA to get a variance for the building or tear down the building. He said he <br />would have 4-6 parking spaces. Councilman Bryant told him the parking lot would have <br />to paved or concrete. A motion was made by Councilman Bryant with a second by <br />Councilman Clark to approve the rezone from B-2 to B-1 for 118 North Indiana Street. <br />Park Superintendent, Brent Callahan, requested to spend $16,580 from the Non- <br />Reverting Capital Fund for a truck. He told the council this truck was used., had a snow- <br />plow, and a dump bed- The balance in the Non Reverting Capital Fund is $256,438.65 <br />Councilman Do1en with a second by Councilman Clark made a motion to approve the <br />expenditure from Nan Reverting Capital Fund. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Bids: Only one company answered the bidding process and that was Swinney Bros. <br />Excavating. Boyd Heights: Phase 1-short session and stop at Harlan SterretCs <br />$90,091..00 up Meadow Lane up to Clines and. Sterretts and along Rooker Road. Phase <br />2-$56,607.00 if the rest of the residents decide they want sewer. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Bryant with a second by Councilman Clark to accept this bid. Motion <br />Gamed 5-0. <br />Ray Young Subdivision bid: This is for the entire subdivision. The prints show going up <br />the resident's back yards. Swinney Bros. Excavating--$140,051.00. Joe Beikman needs <br />to get a couple more temporary easements before work can begin. Councilman Clark <br />made a motion with a secand from Councilman Shields to accept the bid. Motion carried <br />5-0. Attorney Tim Currens told the council that a letter from ham that everything is in <br />order generates a start date for the project- <br />Final Adoption Budget 2005: A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second <br />by Councilman Dolen to approve CCD budget for $500,137.00. Police budget, part-time <br />dispatchers was increased $20,000 to $55,000. Councilman Shields suggested that <br />maybe some type of overlapping shift. hours could be arranged. Training and seminars <br />was increased by $10,000. Councilman Bryant Cold the council Chief Viles had said J-2 <br />was costing $20,000 per year. in overtime. Now J-2 is closed overtime was dropped from <br />$35,000 to $25,000. Councilman Bryant made a motion with a second from Councilman <br />Shields to approve the police budget in the amount of $2,027,693. Mation carried S-0. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to approve <br />the Fire budget in the amount of $1.,250,989. Motion carried 4-1 with. Councilman <br />Shields opposed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to <br />approve the Town Hall budget in the amount of $586,312.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Shields with. a second by Councilman Dolen to <br />apprave the Town Caurt budget in the amount of $136,991.00. Motian carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to <br />approve the Utility Dept. budget in the amount of $213,320. Motian carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Bryant to <br />approve the MVH budget in the amount of $886,356.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Bryant to <br />approve the Park budget in the amount of $7 05,041.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to <br />approve a Resolution to allow the Clerk-Treasurer to lower :Line #1 if necessary to arrive <br />at a final budget in line with the maximum levy. Mation carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to <br />approve an ordinance for a112005 budgets in the total amount of $6,306,839.00. Motian <br />carried 5-0. <br />No new personnel were approved for any department. <br />
