• A motion to accept the replat was made by Commissioner Williamson, second by Commissioner Corbin. Motion carried 8-0. The next item on the agenda was Holloway Engineering, representing Jack Perry, requesting amendment of Lots 4B and 4C of Southbridge Crossing. The purpose of the amendment is to create lots 4-B2 and 4-C2. Lot 4-B2 is almost a half acre and Lot 4-C2 is almost one acre. Any developments on these lots would have to come before the Commission for site plan approval. Building Commissioner, Joe Beikman, asked the Commission to stipulate that the lots could not be used at all without coming before the Commission for approval because there was a special exception on those lots. A motion to approve the amendment of Lots 4B and 4C of Southbridge Crossing was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Ehrhart. Motion carried 8-0. The last item on the agenda was the discussion of the Zoning Ordinance. Commissioner McGuire led the Commission in a page by page comparison of the old and new Zoning Ordinance books. Items discussed included zoning classifications for certain types of businesses and the addition of the B-4 zoning classification. Building Commissioner, Joe Beikman reported twenty-one permits and forty-six inspections. Commissioner Bryant mentioned that some Plan Commissions get more information in their packets on the developments that are coming before them. Attorney, Tim Currens stated that they could add some things to the filing requirements, such as directions to the property and what their intentions are for it's development so that the members would have more time to prepare. The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will be on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. There being no further business to come before the Plan Commission at this time, a motion was made by Commissioner Corbin, second by Commissioner Bryant. otion carried 8-0.
