MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2005 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 6 p.m. at the <br /> Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> Commission members present were; Chairman, Mike Young, Darrell Brown, Troy <br /> Bryant, Robert Williamson and Robert Hugh Corbin. Town Attorney, Tim Currens was <br /> Also present. <br /> A motion by Commissioner Bryant, second from Commissioner Williamson to approve <br /> minutes from the August 25, 2005 meeting. Motion carried 5-0 with none apposed. <br /> The first item on the agenda was A 2 lot minor plat for Stephanie Burns at 4663 Shady <br /> Lane. This item had been continued from the August meeting. Jonathon Hause from <br /> Lewis Engineering spoke on behalf of Stephanie Burns on this matter. <br /> The lots will share a drive, which will be widened and the pond will remain with lot 2. <br /> Chairman Young ask Joe Beikman about the Tech meeting,Mr. Beikman said that the <br /> every thing met requirements. <br /> • With no other questions from the floor or the commission a motion from Commissioner <br /> Brown second by Commissioner Corbin to approve the 2-Lot Minor Plat. Motion carried <br /> 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> With the absence of Commissioner Ehrhart, Chairman Young appointed Commissioner <br /> Brown as acting Secretary, for signing of, the plat and the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. <br /> Building Superintendent Joe Beikman,reported 19 permits and 56 inspections. <br /> Commissioner Bryant asked about Non-Conforming use of 133 West Washington Street, <br /> with multiple families living there. Mr. Currens that it was a probability that is had been <br /> used this way before we had an ordinance. <br /> The Doug Turner property on Main Street was also brought up, at which time Attorney <br /> Currens explain that it was in litigation at this time. <br /> With no further business to come before the Commission at this time, a motion to adjourn <br /> was made by Commissioner Bryant and second by Commissioner Corbin. Motion carried <br /> 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will be on Thursday, October 27, <br /> 2005, at 6: p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />
