• <br /> RESOLUTION ` , 2003 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE' S <br /> APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FROM THE <br /> INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council as the governing <br /> entity of the Town of Mooresville is responsible for making sure <br /> the Town is in compliance with the laws of the State of Indiana; <br /> WHEREAS, House Enrollment Act 1339 requires the Town to <br /> meet certain standards including compliance with Rule 13 of the <br /> Indiana Department of Environmental Management; <br /> WHEREAS, the Town needs financial assistance to come into <br /> compliance with Rule 13; <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 19, 2003 <br /> concerning possible grants for assistance in compliance with <br /> Rule 13; <br /> WHEREAS, no public entities were present nor were any forms <br /> of remonstrance given by the public sector against potential <br /> grants for services and for equipment that would in effect <br /> compete with the private sector; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Town of <br /> Mooresville shall apply for a grant from the Indiana Department <br /> • of Environmental Management for screening equipment and a leaf <br /> vac trailer unit to assist them in coming into compliance with <br /> Rule 13 of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management . <br />
