r - , .44p <br /> TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br /> DECLARATORY RESOLUTION FOR THE DESIGNATION <br /> OF AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA <br /> • WHEREAS, the Town of Mooresville, Indiana (the "Town") has <br /> been requested by Nice Pak Products (the "Applicant") to find <br /> pursuant to IC 6-1 . 1-12 . 1-2 that the area described in Exhibit <br /> "A" (the "Area") is an "Economic Revitalization Area" within the <br /> meaning of IC 6-1 . 1-12 . 1-1 (1) ; <br /> WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council (the "Council") has <br /> prepared (i) a simplified description of the boundaries of the <br /> Area by describing its location in relation to public ways, <br /> streams or otherwise or (ii) maps and plat that identify the <br /> Area, attached as Exhibit "A"; <br /> WHEREAS, the Area is located within the jurisdiction of the <br /> Council for the purposes set forth in IC 6-1 . 1-12 . 1-2 and has <br /> previously been designated an Economic Revitalization Area; <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant and/or an affiliate thereof and/or <br /> another entity (collectively, the "Applicant") plan to purchase <br /> new equipment as a capital investment in the approximate amount <br /> of $3, 700, 000 . 00 for updating and increasing their plant <br /> capacity in the Area (the "Project") ; <br /> WHEREAS, the Project will consist of: (i) the installation <br /> in the Area of tangible personal property to be acquired by <br /> Applicant, as its owner, for use in the direct production, <br /> manufacture, fabrication, assembly, processing, refining or <br /> refinishing of other tangible personal property, which tangible <br />
