The fee for an Alarm User <br /> Permit shall be Twenty-Five Dollars ($25. 00) annually. <br /> SECTION V <br /> INSPECTION <br /> The Chief of Police or his duly appointed representative <br /> (including a representative of the Mooresville Fire Department) <br /> shall have the right to inspect any alarm system on the premises <br /> where it is intended to be used, both prior to and subsequent to <br /> the issuance of a Permit or at any other reasonable time to <br /> determine whether a Permit should be granted and whether the <br /> system is being used in conformity with the terms of the Permit <br /> and the provisions of this Ordinance . Such inspection is in no <br /> manner a guarantee of the alarm system or how it will function <br /> but is merely intended to see if the system is in general <br /> compliance with the Ordinance. Such inspection is not mandatory <br /> nor required by the Town. It shall be the duty and <br /> responsibility of the Alarm User to make sure the system is <br /> installed properly, maintained properly and kept in good <br /> operating order. <br /> SECTION VI <br /> LOCAL ALARMS <br /> Local alarms with an externally audible alert shall not <br /> make a sound similar to that of Emergency Management warning <br /> systems and such alarms in residential districts must have an <br /> automatic shut off after fifteen (15) minutes of sounding. <br /> 8 <br />
