RESOLUTION~- , 2000 <br /> <br />CONFIRMATORY RESOLUTION REGARDING APPLICATION OF <br />WAGAN, LLC d/b/a THERMOCORE PANEL SYSTEM, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Mooresville has been requested by Wagan, LLC d/b/a <br />Thermocore Panel System, Inc. to find, pursuant to IC 6-1.1-12.1 et seq. that the following <br />described real estate is an Economic Revitalization Area: <br /> <br /> See Attached Legal Description <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on February 15, 2000, the Mooresville Town council did adopt a preliminary <br />Resolution for the designation of the real estate described in the attached Exhibit "A" as an <br />Economic Revitalization Area and for property tax abatement; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the adoption and substance of said Preliminary Resolution was <br />published in the Mooresville Times and the Martinsville Daily Reporter pursuant to IC 6-1.1- <br />12.1-2.5 and IC 5-3-1 ten (10) days prior to the public hearing on March 7, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application, description of the affected area and pertinent supporting <br />data were available for public inspection in the office of the Morgan County Assessor; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council will base the length of the real estate tax <br />abatement period upon such factors as compliance with the Town zoning law, the type of <br />project, investment, effect on the tax rate and new job creation; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council, after conducting a public hearing on this matter, has given <br /> careful consideration to all comments and views expressed and written evidence presented <br /> regarding the designation of the subject real estate as an Economic Revitalization Area and its <br /> appropriateness for tax abatement. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the council hereby confirms certain <br /> <br /> <br />
