<br />.... <br /> <br />ORDINANCE~, 1998 <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TARGET AREA <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Economic Development Commission has made favorable <br /> <br /> <br />recommendation following its meeting of September 30, 1998 on certain real estate owned by <br /> <br /> <br />Weliever & Sons Chevrolet, Inc., be designated as an Economic Development Target Area, and, <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council finds that the below described real estate has <br /> <br /> <br />become undesirable or impossible for normal development and occupancy because of a lack of <br /> <br />development, cessation of growth, and other factors that have impaired values or prevented <br /> <br /> <br />normal development of property or the use of the property, all pursuant to IC 6-1. 1-12. 1-7(a)(1) <br /> <br /> <br />and that less than fifteen percent (15 %) of the total geographic territory of the Town of <br /> <br /> <br />Mooresville has been designated to be in an Economic Development Target Area; <br /> <br /> <br />IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Civil Town of Mooresville <br /> <br /> <br />that the following described real estate shall hereby be designated as an Economic Development <br /> <br /> <br />Target Area pursuant to the above statute, and to provide the findings necessary for an <br /> <br /> <br />application of IC 6-1.1-12.1-3(e)(1O)(C) providing for real property tax deductions: <br /> <br />SEE ATTACHED LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />This Ordinance ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1998 by the Mooresville Town <br />Council. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />M?2t.l)Jf- <br />
