<br />,'..-..1IiD" <br /> <br />4 <br />ORDINANCE U , 1998 <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING A THREE-WAY STOP <br />ON BRIDGE STREET AND MAPLE LANE <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted to the Civil Town of Mooresville through <br /> <br />its Town Council to enact certain ordinances to establish reasonable regulations for the protection <br /> <br />of the life, health, safety and property of the citizens of the Civil Town of Mooresville, IT IS <br /> <br />HEREBY ORDERED AND ORDAINED that an ordinance be adopted establishing a three-way <br /> <br />stop at the intersection of Bridge Street and Maple Lane as more particularly set out herein: <br /> <br />Secti on I <br /> <br />That a three-way stop is created at the intersection of Bridge Street and Maple Lane to <br /> <br />be posted as a stop intersection by the appropriate traffic signage, creating a stop intersection <br /> <br />for traffic headed west on Bridge Street and north and south on Maple Lane. <br /> <br />Section II <br /> <br />The Town Street Commissioner shall post or cause to be posted stop signs at the <br /> <br />intersection of Bridge Street and Maple Lane creating a three-way stop for traffic coming from <br /> <br />all directions at this intersection. <br /> <br />Section III <br /> <br />Violation of this Ordinance is hereby declared to be punishable by fines of not less than <br /> <br />One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) for failing to stop at the <br /> <br />intersection of Bridge Street and Maple Lane. <br /> <br />Section IV <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />Whereas an emergency exists, this Ordinance is declared to be in full force and effect <br /> <br />from and after its passage and all Ordinances or parts of Ordinance in conflict herewith, are <br />
