~w ORDINANCE NO. J-L-, 1987 ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF THE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, State of Indiana, that: WHEREAS, the officers and employees for the Town of Mooresville, Indiana, are entitled to a fixed hourly, monthly or annual compens- ation, and WHEREAS, said compensation of the employees of said civil town shall be fixed by an ordinance passed by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, and WHEREAS, the compensation of such employees may be changed by an ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, as conditions and circumstances require a change or changes. WHEREAS, it become necessary for the town to hire additional employees to take care of the necessary functions and duties required of the town government. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, that the salaries and wages for the following named employees of the Town of Mooresville shall henceforth be as follows: Section I. The following salaries and wages shall be paid from the General Fund: Chief Marshall - $24,500.00 per year plus longevity pay Assistant Chief Marshall - $23,500.00 per year plus longevity pay Lieutenant - $21,822.00 per year plus longevity pay Sergeant - $20,448.00 per year plus longevity pay Patrolman - $19,209.00 per year plus longevity pay Communications Officer - $16,400.00 per year plus longevity pay Breathalizer Officer - $500.00 per year Juvenile Officer - $500.00 per year IDAC Co-ordinator - $250.00 per year School Crossing Guards - $5.00 per hour Police Uniform Maintenance - $350.00 per year per man
