\ ORDINANCE NO. 11_ ,1985 . AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A STOP STREET AT THE INTERSECTION OF BISHOP STREET AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH CARLISLE STREET AND BISHOP STREET AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH ST. CLAIR STREET BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, that: By the powers vested in the said Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana, by the Acts of the State of Indiana, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED ~ that: WHEREAS, it is necessary to control the flow of traffic in the Civil Town of Mooresvil1e, Indiana, that an ordinance be adopted establishing a stop intersection on Bishop Street at its intersection with Carlisle Street and at Bishop Street at its intersection with St. Clair Street. It is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that an ordinance be adopted establishing at the intersection of Bishop Street and Carlisle Street a stop intersection on Bishop Street both in a north and south direction allowing the traffic from Carlisle Street to progress as a through street and to provide for the erection of stop signs at Bishop Street for traffic in both a north and south direction to control all traffic entering the intersection from Bishop Street as a stop intersection. Section 1. It is further ORDERED AND ORDAINED that the driver of a motor vehicle entering Carlisle Street from Bishop Street in either a north or south direction shall stop in obedience to the stop signs erected at said intersection for the control of traffic and shall proceed cautiously into said intersection after first coming to a full and complete stop at said sign, unless traffic at said intersection is controlled by a police officer on duty, in which event, the direction of the police officer shall be complied with. The Town Marshall, or any other person designated by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, shall post or cause to be posted signs at the aforesaid intersection controlling the traffic entering such intersection. Section 2. It is further ORDERED AND ORDAINED that the driver of a motor vehicle entering St. Clair Street from Bishop Street in either a north or south direction shall stop in obedience to the stop signs erected at said intersection for the control of traffic and shall proceed cautiously into said intersection after first coming to a full and complete stop at said sign, unless traffic at said intersection is controlled by a police officer on duty, in which event, the direction
