BOOK ~1 PA~:, 294 0134:".2 ORDINANCE NO. 17 1984 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, MORGAN COUNTY, INDIANA v BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, that: ...../ Bv the powers vested in the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, by the laws of the State of Indiana, being Indiana Code 36-4-3, it is hereby ordered and ordained that the following tracts of real estate which are contiguous territory to the Civil Town of Mooresvil1e, having in excess of one acre the aggregate external boundaries of the territory coninciding with the boundaries of the Civil Town of Mooresville with said contiguous strip of land being in excess of 150 feet wide at the point of connection to the Civil Town of Mooresville. That said following tracts of real estate are hereby annexed in to the Civil Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, said real estate being all situated in Morgan County, State of Indiana, to-wit: A part of the northeast quarter of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Fourteen (14) north, Range One (1) east, beginning at a point twenty- one and forty-three hundredths (21.43) chains West of the Northeast \ corner of Section Thirty-five (35) aforesaid, thence West five and twenty hundredths (5.20) chains; thence South seven degrees and thirtv minutes (7030') West one and Seventy hundredths chains; thence south four and nineteen hundredths (4.19) chains; thence south twentv-seven degrees (270) east eight and seven hundredths (8.07) chains: thence o south thirty-six degrees (36 ) east two and sixtv-five hundredths (2.65) chains to the center of the east abutment of the Iron Bridge over White Lick Creek on the Greencastle Road; thence north fifteen and twenty-two hundredths (15.22) chains to the place of beginning, containing Five and Eighty-one hundredths (5.81) acres, except a private right of way to the creek across the south point of the above described real estate. Beginning at a point 16.70 chains West and 1.51 chains South of the northeast corner of said Section 35, and running thence West 4.76 chains; thence South 12.90 chains to a point 0.84 chains North of the center of the East abutment of the bridge over ¡;bite Lick Creek, thence South 80 degrees East 6.12 chains to an iron stake; thence North 5.67 chains: thence East 2.18 chains to the northwest corner of Lot Number Five (5) in Benjamin F, Jones' Addition to the Town of lIooresville; thence North 40 feet to the southwest corner of Lot Number Nine (9) in said Addition; thence West 3.37 chains; thence North 7.67 chains to the place of beginning, containing 7.26 acres, more or less.
