<br />TAX COMMISSIONERS FROM BOARD OF TRUSTEES,
<br />CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA

<br />I hereby petition and appeal to the State Board of Tax Commissioners:
<br />
<br />the action of the Morgan County Tax Adjustment Board of September 1983, and for
<br />
<br />Relief from Levy Limitations Pursuant to Indiana Code 6-3.5-1 and in support of
<br />
<br />this appeal, state the following:
<br />
<br />1. That the duly elected Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville,
<br />
<br />Morgan County, Indiana, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Board, has directed
<br />
<br />that 1, as the highest ranking officer, file this petition to appeal the action
<br />
<br />taken by the Morgan County Tax Adjustment Board, in re1ation to a reduction of the
<br />
<br />advertised tax rate for the Civil Town of Mooresvil1e, Morgan County, Indiana, for
<br />
<br />the ensuing budget year.
<br />
<br />That a copy of such resolution as adopted by said Board of Trustees of the
<br />
<br />Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana is attached to this petition, marked as
<br />
<br />Exhibi t "A", and incorporated herein by reference.
<br />
<br />2. That the estimated funds to be raised, and which are required to
<br />
<br />carry out tne governmental functions and responsj.biJ i ties committed to the
<br />
<br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresvil1e by Jaw in the coming fiscal year
<br />
<br />have been thoroughly studied in detail by the Board of Trustees of the Civil
<br />
<br />Town of Mooresvil]e, Indiana in prf'.paration of its budget, 'Which ",,'as t}l(~rcafter
