<br />;: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 16, 1982 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING AREA ON THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY OF <br />WASHINGTON STREET FOR A DISTANCE OF 150 FEET EAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br />WASHINGTON STREET WITH MAPLE LANE IN THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, <br /> <br />Indiana, that: <br /> <br />By the Powers vested in the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of <br /> <br />Mooresville, Indiana, by Indiana Code 9-4-1-28, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED <br /> <br />that whereas it is necessary to control the flow of traffic in the Town of <br /> <br />Mooresville, Indiana, on Washington Street by establishing a no parking zone <br /> <br />on and along the South right-of-way of Washington Street, beginning at a point <br /> <br />on the Northeast corner of the intersection of Washington Street and Maple Lane, <br /> <br />and thence running 150 feet East on and along the South right-of-way of <br /> <br />Washington Street, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that an ordinance be <br /> <br />adopted prohibiting parking on and along said designated area at all times. <br /> <br />SECTION I <br /> <br />BE IT HEREBY ORDERED for the control of traffic on the South right-of-way <br /> <br />of Washington Street, beginning at a point on the Northeast corner of the <br /> <br />intersection of Washington Street and Maple Lane, thence running East 150 feet <br /> <br />on and along the South right-of-way of Washington Street, be, and hereby is, <br /> <br />established as a "No Parking Zone", and that no parking shall be permitted at <br /> <br />any time at and along said designated area. <br /> <br />SECTION II <br /> <br />The Town Marshal, or any other person designated by the Board of Trustees <br /> <br />of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana, shall post or cause to be posted signs <br /> <br />at the aforesaid no parking areas, designating such areas as a "No Parking Zone". <br /> <br />SECTION III <br /> <br />Be it further Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of <br /> <br />Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, that the Mooresville Town Marshal or any <br /> <br />Deputy Marshal of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, is hereby authorized <br /> <br />to tow away, or have removed and towed away by commercial towing service, any <br /> <br />motor vehicle illegally parked in the above designated areas on the rights-of <br /> <br />way of the streets described in Section I. <br />
