<br />r <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />~ <br />. <br /> <br />, 1982 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NO PARKING AREAS ON WEST MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CIVIL <br />TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, MORGAN COUNTY, INDIANA <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, <br /> <br />Morgan County, Indiana, that <br /> <br />By the Powers vested in the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, <br /> <br />Morgan County, Indiana, by the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, <br /> <br />as the same have been adopted and amended from time to time, it is hereby ORDERED <br /> <br />AND ORDAINED that whereas it is necessary to control the flow and passage of <br /> <br />traffic on certain streets in the Civil Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, <br /> <br />in order to provide safe passage for all types of vehicles and other traffic along <br /> <br />with persons entering and exiting their vehicles, and it is hereby ORDERED AND <br /> <br />ORDAINED that an ordinance be adopted providing no parking in the following <br /> <br />designated ares on West Main Street as defined in the following Section I, to-wit: <br /> <br />Section I <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND ORDAINED for the control of traffic and persons <br /> <br />entering and exiting their vehicles on West Main Street in Mooresvil1e, Indiana <br /> <br />that there is hereby established a no parking zone on and along the north right <br /> <br />of way of West Main Street for a period of 20 feet as shown by the yellow lines <br /> <br />directly in front of the Mooresville Library and an additional no parking zone <br /> <br />established on the South side of West Main Street starting at the alley located <br /> <br />approximately 318 feet West of the Southwest corner of Indiana and Main Street <br /> <br />and running East a period of 80 feet on Main Street. <br /> <br />Section II <br /> <br />The Town Marshall, or any other person designated by the Board of Trustees <br /> <br />of the Town of Mooresvil1e, Indiana, shall post, or cause to be posted, an <br /> <br />appropriate sign and/or yellow curb markings along said no parking area, <br /> <br />designating these areas as a no parking area. <br /> <br />Section III <br /> <br />Violation of this ordinance is declared to be an infraction of a Town <br /> <br />Ordinance punishable by a fine of not less than Zero Dollars ($0.00) nor more <br /> <br />than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). <br />
