' <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />~- <br /> <br />this Ordinance by granting or denying improvement location <br /> <br />permit applications in accordance with the provisions hereof. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />An improvement location permit shall be <br /> <br />obtained before construction or development begins within any <br /> <br />area of special flood hazard established in Article III, Sec- <br /> <br />tion 2. <br /> <br />Application for an improvement location permit shall <br /> <br />be made on the forms furnished by the Building Inspector for <br /> <br />the Town of Mooresville, and may include but not be limited <br /> <br />to: plans in duplicate drawn to scale, Showing the nature, <br /> <br />location, dimensions and elevations of the area in question; <br /> <br />existing or proposed structures, fill, storage of materials, <br /> <br />drainage facilities; and the location of the foregoing. <br /> <br />Specifically, the following information is required <br /> <br />whenever it is determined by the Building Inspector that the <br /> <br />proposed construction or development would lie within an area <br /> <br />of the special flood hazard as established in Article III, <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />A. Elevation in relation to mean sea level, <br /> <br />of the lowest floors, (including basement) of all structures; <br /> <br />B. Elevation in relation to mean sea level, <br /> <br />to which any structure has been flood proofed; <br /> <br />C. Certification by registered professional <br /> <br />engineer Or architect that the flood proofing methods for any <br /> <br />non-residential structure meet the flood proofing criterian <br /> <br />in Article IV, Section 2; <br /> <br />D. Description of the extent to which any <br /> <br />water course will be altered or relocated as a result of pro- <br /> <br />posed development. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Duties and Responsibilities of the <br /> <br />Building Ins ector of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana: <br /> <br />Shall include, but not be limited to: <br /> <br />A. Review of all improvement location per- <br /> <br />mits to determine that the permit requirements of this Or- <br /> <br />dinance have been satisfied. <br /> <br />B. Review all permits to assure sites are <br /> <br />-9- <br />
