ORDINANCE -7 , 2013 <br /> AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF <br /> ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION <br /> MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council for the Town of Mooresville is <br /> responsible for setting the compensation for its elected <br /> officials, officers, Board and Commission members and employees <br /> for the year 2014; <br /> BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the following represents the <br /> Salary Ordinance for the Town of Mooresville for the year 2014 to <br /> be paid as follows : <br /> SECTION I. MOORESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> Paid from General Fund Annual Salary and/or Rate of <br /> Pay (to be paid in equal bi- <br /> weekly increments for salary <br /> and rate of pay by hourly pay <br /> periods bi-weekly) <br /> Police Chief $52, 860 . 00 <br /> Captain 47, 182 . 00 <br /> Lieutenant 3 20 . 52 per hour <br /> Sergeant 3 19 . 75 per hour <br /> Patrolman 19. 05 per hour <br /> Probationary Patrolman 18 . 57 per hour <br /> Narcotic & Juvenile Detective 1 19 . 29 per hour <br /> 500 . 00 additional pay <br /> pro-rated over 20 pay periods or applicable number of pay <br /> periods for officer named as a Second Detective <br /> Communications Officers 17 . 47 per hour <br /> Part-Time Communications Officers 12 . 50 per hour <br /> Dispatchers in training (part-time) 7 . 25 per hour <br /> Technical Coordinator 17 . 97 per hour <br /> Admin. Comm. Officer 17 . 66 per hour <br /> Police Commission Board Members 35. 00 for each meeting <br /> attended <br /> Police Officers clothing allowance 500 . 00 per year <br /> per officer <br /> In addition to the above salaries, Officers on the second shift <br /> shall receive an additional $0 . 25 per hour and Officers on the <br /> third shift shall receive an additional $0 . 50 per hour. <br />
