r····..··.······'·-·· .u~: '<~' . \, {r F i I r- !. i 1-,,_ ,::-. \ L._- meter zone or, in lieu thereof, for the following periods of time, upon the deposit therein of a coin or coins of United States currency as specified: (1) Upon the deposit of one dime or two nickels: For two full hours of lawful parking time; (2) Upon the deposit of one nickel: For one full hour of lawful parking time; (3) Upon the deposit of one to ten pennies; For 12 full minutes of lawful parking time for each penny deposited. (b) Each parking meter shall be so designed, constructed, installed and set that upon the expiration of the time period registered, by the deposit of one or more coins, as provided herein, it will indicate by an appropriate signal that the lawful parking meter period has expired, and during said period of time and prior to the expiration thereof, will indicate the interval of time which remains of such period. (c) Each parking meter shall bear thereon a legend, or the zone or area should be appropriately signed, to indicate the days and hours when the requirement to deposit coins therein shall apply. Section 3. Parking Meter Spaces: (a) The Town and the Street Commissioner shall designate the parking space adjacent to each parking neter for which such meter is to be ~'ed by appropriate markings upon the ~rb and/or pavement of the street.
