MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL ORDINANCE NO. 9 -2002 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS, AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE Be it ordained the Town Council of the Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, that the compensation for its elected officials, officers, board and commission members and employees for the pay periods for 2003 shaH be as foHows: MOORESVILLE POLICE DEPT. Paid from General Fund Bi-Weekly Salary Police Officers clothing aHowance $ 43.678.00 38,000.00 33,500.00 31,900.00 30,450.00 29,450.00 30,965.00 500.00 above Current pay 27,170.00 10.00 per hour 6.00 per hour 28,200.00 27,550.00 25,000.00 25.00 for each Meeting attended 500.00 per year Per man. Police Chief Captain lieutenant 3 Sergeant 3 Patrolman II Probationary Patrolman I Narcotic & Juvenile Detective I Detective Communications Officers Part Time Communications Officers Dispatchers in training Technical Co-ordinator Admin. Comm. Officer Police Office Clerk Police Commission board members The Police Chief as administrative executive of the Department shall not be entitle to overtime but instead shall receive time off at the rate of 1 V2 to 1, for every hour in excess of 40 hours work he shall receive 1 Y2 hours time off for compensation. The Police Chief shaH have benefit of 11.00% of yearly salary paid by the Town to PERF. The office of Captain as an assistant administrative Officer shall not be entitled to overtime but instead shall receive time off at the rate of 1 Y2 to 1, for every hour in excess of 40 hours work he shall receive 1 Y2 hours off for compensation. Police Captain, lieutenants, Sergeants, Detective, Patrolmen, and Juvenile Officer shaH receive as a benefit paid by the Town for 77 Pension Plan 21 % of a patrolman's salary.
