August 4, 2015 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 6:30 PM at the <br />Mooresville Government Center. <br />Town Council members present were: President Mark Mathis, Vice- President Virginia Perry, Tony <br />Langley, Joe Beikman, and Jeff Cook. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was also <br />present. <br />Mark Mathis gave the prayer. <br />A motion was made by Councilwoman Perry with a second by Councilman Beikman to approve the <br />minutes of July 21, 2015. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Public Hearing: TOA, confirmatory resolution for 10 year abatement on their e -coat facility that will add <br />40 new jobs and be ready by February 2016. A motion was made by Councilman Beikman with a second <br />by Councilman Cook to approve Confirmatory Resolution # 12, 2015. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Room Usage request: Sally Yates — Red Hat Sparklers-Lion's Den -Nov. 10, 2015 - <br />A motion was made by Councilwoman Perry with a second by Councilman Beikman to approve the <br />request. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Councilman Mathis entered into the record a letter from Mooresville High School thanking Dave Moore' <br />for their help during the flood. <br />Legal: Backup PSAP Memorandum of Understanding Agreement for Morgan County Dispatch to be the <br />Town's back up. A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br />approve. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Cook to approve payment of <br />claims in the amount of $461,758.95. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at 6:30 PM <br />at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />A Special meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 6:30 PM, at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />Y <br />his, CC uncil President <br />ATTEST. <br />Sandra R. Jeff Cook was absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br />There were no minutes to approve. <br />New Business: Dean Mayfield, Mayfield Insurance, presented the renewal for Self- Funded Health <br />Insurance. HCC Life Insurance quote was lowest and down from this year in expected costs at <br />$1,829,659 and maximum costs were down from this year at $2,189,029. This was due to the Town <br />having a good year. <br />A motion was made by Councilwoman Perry with a second by Councilman Beikman to approve HCC <br />renewal with Coresource as the Administrator. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />
