Mooresville Plan Commission Minutes <br />Thursday December 14th, 2017 <br />Members Present: Perry King, Robert Alumbaugh, Joe Beikman, Jeff <br />Dieterlen, Dennis Chambers, Dave Moore, Tammy VanHook and <br />town attorney Tim Currens. Mike Young was absent. <br />Jeff Dieterlen called the meeting to order and then called for a motion <br />on the previous minutes. Perry King made a motion to accept the <br />minutes as presented, Joe Beikman seconded the motion and the <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />The first item on the agenda is a final plat approval for section two of <br />North Madison Crossing. Attorney Tim Currens stated that as he also <br />represents Mr. Swinney, the builder involved in N. Madison Crossing <br />he would recuse himself, he then exited the meeting. Ross Holloway <br />presented the adjusted plans from the originally presented plat. Ross <br />Holloway spoke of the proposed lot sizes, home sizes, number of lots <br />to be built, building on a slab and the advancements in technology, <br />the exterior home brick ratio and the surrounding neighbor hoods. <br />Once Ross Holloway stated they were asking for an approval <br />contingent upon meeting all county requirements. had concluded his <br />initial presentation Jeff Dietrelen called for questions and or <br />comments from the board and or from the audience. Joe Beikman <br />asked how many lots in section one was still available and of them <br />how many would be full bricked on the bottom, 24 and all of them. <br />Dennis Chambers clarified dates, audience members expressed <br />concerns over the roads in section one not being turned over to the <br />county, snow removal continues to be paid out of the HOA due to <br />this, Mr. Swinney was questioned about an unpaid bond, concerns <br />were expressed about building on a slab, it was brought up that there <br />are no designated construction roads, one audience member indicated <br />that Mr. Swinney had stated at a recent HOA meeting that section two <br />was a done deal and that attending the public Plan Commission <br />meeting was unnecessary.
