ORDINANCE 7, 2016 <br />AN ORDINANCE REZONING LAND WITHIN THE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING JURISDICTION OF THE <br />CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held the 28th day of July, <br />2016 before the Town of Mooresville Plan Commission upon the <br />Application of the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission, for the <br />rezoning of the real property described in the attached Exhibit <br />"A" requesting a rezoning from B-2 Business District to OP -Open <br />Space; <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Plan Commission made an <br />unfavorable recommendation to the Mooresville Town Council for <br />the approval of said rezoning and amendment to the Town's Zoning <br />Ordinance on the real property described in the attached Exhibit <br />"A. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Mooresville Town Council having <br />reviewed the recommendation of the Plan Commission and having <br />reviewed the Rezoning Petition and comments at a public meeting <br />held August 16, 2016 now finds that the requested zoning <br />classification is an appropriate land use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the zoning <br />classification of OP -Open Space be granted to the real property <br />described in the attached Exhibit "A" and the Town of <br />Mooresville's zoning maps shall be amended to show and reflect <br />
