RESOLUTION l2� , 2016 <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council annually sets the <br />salary and participation in the Public Employees Retirement Fund <br />(hereinafter "PERF") for the employees of the Town of <br />Mooresville; <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council has determined that <br />the Judge of the Mooresville Town Court, Susan Leib, should be <br />added to the roster of Town employees participating in PERF for <br />the year 2017; <br />WHEREAS, PERF requires a Resolution for approving the <br />addition of an employee to the Plan by November 30, 2016 for <br />participation in the Plan for the year 2017; <br />WHEREAS, to be compliant with the requirements of PERF for <br />participation in the Plan for the year 2017 the approval of this <br />Resolution shall be forwarded to PERF immediately upon passage; <br />WHEREAS, the Salary Ordinance for 2017 shall reflect the <br />participation of Judge Susan Leib in the PERF Plan and shall <br />also reflect a setoff for this participation from the current <br />salary per the agreement with Judge Susan Leib. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Judge Susan Leib of the <br />Mooresville Town Court shall be added to the Town of <br />Mooresville's participants in the State's Public Employee <br />Retirement Fund and a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded <br />
