Mooresville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners <br />Police Department Larry Bryant <br />Brian Wiser <br />Fred Settle <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES <br />These are the Minutes of the Special meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission held at the <br />Mooresville Police Department on September 07, 2017. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Larry Bryant, Fred Settle, Brian Wiser <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chief Allen, Charles Braun, Amanda Carnell <br />Call to order at 6:00 PM. <br />Brian Wiser made a motion to rehire Richard Allen as the Chief of the Mooresville Metropolitan <br />Police Department. Fred Settle seconded the motion. Chief Allen's last day as the Chief of Police <br />under the 1977 Police & Fire Pension is September 10, 2017. Chief Allen will be rehired as the <br />Chief of Police under the civilian pension if he so desires to join the plan. Chief Allen's first day <br />as a civilian chief will be September 11, 2017. Attorney Charles Braun spoke briefly about Chief <br />Allen and his ability to join or not join the civilian pension plan.
