Mooresville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners <br />Police Department Larry Bryant <br />Brian Wiser <br />Fred Settle <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES <br />These are the Minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission <br />held at the Mooresville Police Department on September 21, 2017. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Larry Bryant, Fred Settle, Brian Wiser <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chief Allen, Charles Braun, Amanda Carvell <br />Call to order at 6:00 PM. <br />Brian Wiser made a motion to approve the minutes from the August 2017 meeting. Fred Settle <br />seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission on current police officer hiring process. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission on the status of the new building. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission on the stats from August 2017. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission on the purchase of 5 new police vehicles, 4 for the <br />uniformed officers and I for a detective. Chief Allen also advised that he was looking into <br />replacing the current flashlights with LED flashlights. Chief Allen also advised that Police <br />Commission that he was looking for grant money for the department. <br />Fred Settle made a motion to adjourn. Brian Wiser seconded the motion. No discussion.
