Mooresville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners <br />Police Department Larry Bryant <br />Brian Wiser <br />Fred Settle <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES <br />These are the Minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission <br />held at the Mooresville Police Department on November 16, 2017. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Larry Bryant, Brian Wiser <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chief Allen, Charles Braun, Amanda Camell, Jacob Eagan <br />Call to order at 6:00 PM. <br />Brian Wiser made a motion to approve the minutes from October 2017 meeting. Larry Bryant <br />seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Chief Allen presented to the Police Commission the new probationary officer, Jacob Eagan. <br />Chief Allen advised that he would be sworn in on Friday, November 17, 2017 and that his first <br />day on payroll would be November 25, 2017. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission on the stats for October 2017. <br />Chief Allen advised the Police Commission that after speaking with Attorney Braun at the last <br />meeting, a conditional offer form has been created and approved. Probationary officer Eagan has <br />signed the form. Chief Allen presented each Commissioner with the new form. <br />Chief Allen advised the Police Commission that due to the current opening in the Dispatch <br />Center, a conditional offer has been made and accepted by Liz Wittl. Liz is currently a part-time <br />dispatcher and after a meeting on today's date, she will officially begin on December 9, 2017. <br />Chief Allen also advised that applications for part-time dispatchers would be accepted until <br />December 31, 2017. <br />Attorney Charles Braun presented the Police Commission with his renewal agreement to <br />continue to serve as the Police Commission attorney for the 2018 year. <br />Brian Wiser made a motion to accept Attorney Braun's invoice and renewal agreement for 2018. <br />Larry Bryant seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Brian Wiser made a motion to suspend the December meeting. Larry Bryant seconded the <br />motion. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />
