TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN <br />OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br />-eAv <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-_ <br />RESOLUTION SETTING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br />REGARDING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE TOWN <br />(Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 13 North, Range I East and the Northwest and <br />Southwest Quarters of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 1 East of the Second Principal <br />Meridian in Morgan County, Indiana—Pauley Property) <br />WHEREAS, a Petition For Voluntary Annexation Into the Town of Mooresville, <br />Indiana (the "Petition') was filed with the Town Council of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana <br />(the "Town Council' and the "Town," respectively) on October 2, 2018; <br />WHEREAS, the Petition requests that the Town annex certain contiguous property <br />described therein and is signed by all owners of land within the territory proposed to be <br />annexed, which territory is described in the legal description attached hereto as Exhibit A <br />and depicted in the territory map attached hereto as Exhibit B; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town desires to set a date for a public hearing on the proposed <br />annexation (the "Public Hearing"), in accordance with the provisions of Indiana Code <br />Sections 36-4-3, et set/., at which the Town Council will receive and hear comments, <br />remonstrance, and objection from interested persons concerning the proposed annexation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL, <br />THAT: <br />1. The Town Council shall hold the Public Hearing on October 16, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. <br />(local time) at the Mooresville Government Center, located at 4 East Harrison <br />Street, Mooresville, IN 46158. <br />2.
