<br />The appropriateness and adequacy of a proposed buffer should <br />be evaluated in terms of its effectiveness at mitigating <br />anticipated negative effects of an intruding use. If <br />equivalent effectiveness can be obtained with alternative <br />buffering methods not listed above, they should be looked <br />upon w~th favor by the governing body. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.9 <br /> <br />OUTSIDE STORAGE <br /> <br />----------------------------- <br /> <br />A. Industrial. <br /> <br />1. outside storage shall be enclosed within a fenced in <br />area <br /> <br />2. outside storage shall not encroach upon parking areas <br />or boundaries to the extent that parking ordinance <br />re~uirements as set out in this ordinance are not <br />belng complied with. <br /> <br />3. outside storage shall not be visible to the public <br />excepting industrial classifications I-2, I-3, or <br />I-4. <br /> <br />4. outside storage, finished or raw materials, shall not <br />exceed the helght of the enclosed fence in any zoning <br />classification excepting areas zoned I-2, I-3, or <br />I-4. <br /> <br />B. Business. <br /> <br />1. Bulk storage shall not be in front of the building <br />structure. <br /> <br />2. package display storage shall be permitted in front <br />of the building structure. <br /> <br />3. The followin9 uses shall be excepted in business <br />zoning classlfication from the outside storage <br />provisions of the ordinance: <br /> <br />Automobile and truck sales, tractor sales, <br />implements, garden supplies and produce. <br /> <br />C. Residential. <br /> <br />farm <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />1. All storage shall be in an enclosed structure, with <br />the exception of vehicles, boats, firewood, trash <br />receptacles, operational mowing and lawn equipment <br />(campers included). <br /> <br />61 <br />
