C <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ~ , ]978 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TOWN COURT OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Moores- <br />ville established by Ordinance No. 5, 1968, the Town Court. of the <br />Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such Town Court has continued to operate and function <br />pursuant to statutory authority granted to it by the General <br />Assembly of the State of Indiana and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the General Assembly of the State of Indiana did by <br />legislative act in 1978 pursuant to House Enrolled Act 1396 amend <br />Public Law 305 of Acts 1975 to provide that a Town Court by a duly <br />adopted ordinance may be extended through and including December 31, <br />1983, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, <br />Indiana deem it in the best interests of the citizens and taxpayers <br />of <br />is <br /> <br />the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, and the community which <br />served by the Town Court of the Town of Mooresville, Morgan <br /> <br />County, Indiana, it is hereby ordained that the Town Court of the <br /> <br />Town of Mooresville~ Morgan County, Indiana, shall be continued <br /> <br />by authority of such legislative act by the General Assembly of <br /> <br />the State of Indiana and shall continue to operate under such <br /> <br />legislative act until December 31, 1983. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this ~ day of _ ~ ~,~-- <br /> <br />1978. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF TRUSTEES, <br /> CIVIL TOWN/~ MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br /> <br />Marilyn bl/illor, Clork-Trea*urer <br />of the Civil Town of Mooresville, <br />Indiana. <br /> <br /> <br />
