<br />~/.?-~jtf <br /> <br />~1/~ <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />We, the ID1dersigned residents ofMooresville, oppose the rewning of the commercial <br />property adjacent to Highway 67 and Bridge Street to multifamily use for the <br />fonowing reasons: <br /> <br />BEST USE OF THE LAND <br />· By rewning to multifami1y you would be ID1der utilizing one the last <br />remaining areas for commercial use. <br /> <br />· Commercial use of the property would not only boost the economy and <br />bring dollars into MooresviIle but it will help keep the dollars from <br />leaving the community. <br /> <br />· Commercial use of the property would not increase the school base and <br />would help decrease the tax burden. <br /> <br />· Other areas in MooresviIIe are already zoned for multifamily <br /> <br />· The Comprehensive Plan for MooresviIle caDs for commercial use <br />for ttús property <br /> <br />TRAFFIC <br />· Commercial use of ttús property could help lessen the traffic problem <br />by creating mOte 8-5 use instead of 24 hour residential traffic. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />;;LD <br /> <br />-- <br />
