PI .AN C( ).X lA IIS SI( )N MIXI.YFES <br /> WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17. 1997. 7:30 P. XI. <br /> <br />The Mooresx,ille Plan Co~mnission met on Wednesday, December 17. 1997 at 7:30 P. M, <br />following the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting. <br /> <br />Commission members present were Joel Beebe. Charles 5!cGuh'e. Vern Kimmel, Mike Young, <br />Jolm Ehi'hm1, Bill Abbou, Steve Campbell, and Tim Benneu. No members were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Cormnissioner McGuke, second by Commission Ehi'hart to approve the <br />mim~tes of the November 19, 1997 meeting. Motion carded 8-0. <br /> <br />First on the Agenda was the Leudeman rezone. Commissioner McGuire stated the ten days notice <br />was not met. and Nh'. Leudeman would have to re-do the notice in the paper and come back to the <br />next meeting in January 1998. The Plan Co~mnission gave Nh.. Leudeman the Tech meeting notes <br />to take care of before the JanuaD~ meeting. <br /> <br />Next, Ross Holloway of HoHoway & Assoc. presented the Curt, Wflcher two lot minor plat. This <br />plat consists of 3.243 acres total and is located on Highway 267. Lot 2 has an eMsting dwelling. <br />One new building site will be created to the West of the existing house. Lot 2 is 1.855 acres and <br />Lot 1 is 1.217 acres, the propenS.' is presently zoned Agriculture and the driveway tv'ill be shared <br />Motion was made by Co~mnissioner McGuire, second by CommJssiioner Khmnel to approve the <br />request for a t~'o lot Minor Plat. Motion carried 8-0. <br /> <br />A discussion was held concerning the Beck PUD for nfinor rexisions. Tlfis PLT) has not been <br />recorded. It was signed without easements for the rear and front utilities, the legal description has <br />changcd, and thc surveyor's report. Town Attorney Thn Cun'cns stated Nh'. Bcck doesn't nccd to <br />re-advertise and come back belbre the Plan Commission. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Abbott, second by Co~mnissioner Campbe~ to approve the PLT) Plat for Beck with re'~Ssions as <br />submitted. Motion carried 8-0. The date on the Plat for the recorder is to be December 17, 1997. <br /> <br /> The Lakeside Minor Plat-,~an Deerwester- a two acre parcel has added Chris Crouch's name to <br /> the Plat. EveD~tlmag else on the Plat is the same. 5lotion was made by Commissioner Campbell, <br /> second by Commissioner Abbott to accept the Plat with the addition of Crouch's name. Motion <br /> carded 8-0. <br /> <br /> Building Inspector Joe Beil, anan reported inspecting 40 West Washington Street and he has not <br /> seen any x4olations. <br /> <br /> A discussion was headed by Colmnissioner Khmnel about page 54 of the Ordinance Book ~11 <br /> which states- No exterior signs with flashing ii~ts. Commissioner Kimmel sz{{tl the VFW had <br /> questioned him about this. Town Attorney Tim Cun'cns said thc Commission needs to look at this <br /> rule and update because of computer generated signs. <br /> <br /> The Plan Commission expressed their wishes for Town Council President Mark Mathis to appoint <br /> <br /> <br />
