Councilman Edwards advised the Council it has become necessary <br />to remove the tree south of Town Hall on the advice of Bob's Tree <br />Service. The tree will be replaced with a Tulip tree which is the <br />state tree. <br /> <br /> The Council advised the town attorney it is their wish to have <br />the two suspects in the cemetary vandalism case make restitution <br />for the damage done to the cemetery and for them each to serve 1000 <br />hours of community service in the cemetery upon conviction. <br /> <br /> Motion was~made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman <br />Ballard to approve an increase in the Council's yearly compensation <br />from $1,100.00 per year to $3,000.00 per year. Motion carried <br />unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br />man Ballard to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to cmoe before the Council at <br />this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Edwards and second <br />by Councilman Ballard.
