242 "" <br /> <br /> December 20, 1994 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held <br /> Tuesday, December 20, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Dick Heald and Pat <br /> Overholser. Council members absent were Steve Edwards and Steve <br /> Ballard. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. <br /> Randy <br /> Pruden <br /> appeared before the Council to inform them of <br /> sewer problems at his father's home located at 373 Northeast Street. <br /> Mr. Pruden stated that the Town had told him the sewer problem <br /> was on his property, after further investigation and approximately <br /> $1,300.00 of expense it was discovered the sewer problem was in <br /> the Town's sewer main. Mr. Pruden requested reimbursement from <br /> the Town for the expenses incurred by his father for the sewer <br /> back-up. <br /> <br /> President Overholser advised Mr. Pruden the Town would <br /> investigate this matter and inform him of the findings as soon <br /> as possible. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles for Recision of Capital Improvement Plan which had previously <br /> been recorded by the Town of Mooresville. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman <br /> Heald to approve a Capital Improvement Plan for the purpose of <br /> funding the installation of a sanitary sewer line on the south <br /> side of Mooresville. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to approve a license agreement with Hoosier Water Company <br /> to allow the Mooresville Police Department to use the Hoosier <br /> Water Company water tower to house communication equipment. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council will meet in special session <br /> Tuesday, December 27, 1994 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall <br /> to execute documentation in regard to the south side sewer project. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to appoint Council President Overholser as signatory on <br /> the easement for the south side sewer project. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had twenty-five <br /> (25) calls, thirteen (13) animals impounded, and three (3) animals <br /> returned to their owners. Year end report for the animal control <br /> officer is five hundred and fifty-five (555) calls, one hundred <br /> eighty-three (183) animals impounded and fifty-one (51) animals <br /> returned to their owners. <br /> <br /> ~ Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to approve the transfer of funds as submitted by the <br /> Clerk-Treasurer. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion to pay bills and claims was made by Councilman Heald, <br /> second by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br /> Viles, second by Councilman Heald.
