A discussion was then held concerning the two cleaning bids. This <br />discussion was tabled at the Dec. 16 meeting. Motion was made <br />by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Pygman to accept the <br />cleaning bid made by DEKAB mtce. for both the Town HALL AND THE <br />Police Station. in compliance with the Cleaning specs at #1.056.00 <br />per month. The Clerk-Treasurer will moniter. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman ~ens~eymade a motion, second by Councilman Dol~n. to approve <br />the Amendment to Salary Ordinance i17, 19~5 for Overtime in the Clerk's <br />Office. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Dolen to <br />approve the amendment to the Salary OrdinaDce ~10, 1996 which had <br />been left out of Section One stating $35G.00 per year uniform <br />allowance for firefi~hters. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion was made by CouncilmaD Hensley, second by Councilman Dolen <br />to approve the Resolution for the Transfer of Funds. Motion <br />carried ur~animously. <br /> <br />~ouncilman Pygmsn led a discussion concernin~ res~deDts ¢:f Honey- <br />suckle Drive. The Town Council cannot do anything to help with <br />their water problem. The Council suggested the five homeowners con- <br />cerned find out who the developer was for their subdivis;ion add <br />consult with him. <br /> <br />There being no further ~usiness to come before the Town Council at <br />this time, Councilman Dolen, secoDd b5~ Councilman Pygman made ~ <br /> <br />motion to adjourn. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Members present were: Mark Mathis, Andy Pygman, Jim Hensley, Bill <br />Wright. Toby Dolen was absent. <br /> <br />Reorganization: Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by <br />Councilman Wright nominate Mark Mathis for a second year as President <br />and Andy Pygman for a second year as Vice-President. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Pygman to <br />approve the minutes of the December 30, 1996 meeting. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> Bob Summers of the Mooresville Girl's Softball League appeared before <br /> the Town Council to request permission to have an opening day par~ <br /> on April 26, 1997 at 9:00 A.M. Motion was made by Councilman <br /> Hensley, second by Councilman Wright to approve the request and for <br /> Mr. Summers to work with Chief Viles on the parade route. <br /> <br /> <br />
