MOORESVILLE BOARD OF SONING APPEALS
F'rNDTNG~

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals having reviewed the
variance request filed by Alton A. Becker and Oksoo Becker residing
at 450 Keller Hill Road, Mooresville, Indiana requesting a variance
from the development standards of the Mooresville zoning ordinance
for purposes of displaying a sign advertising "Main Street
Alterations" on property that is zoned residential. The Board of
Zoning appeals having heard evidence on the variance request now
makes the following findings of fact pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4-918.5:

1. That the approval of the variance will not be injurious to
the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the
community and that the variance does not create any public health
hazard or threat to the general welfare of the community.

2. That the use and value of the area adjacent to the
property included in the variance would not be affected in any
substantially adverse manner due to the size of this sign.

3. That the strict application of the terms of the zoning
ordinance will not result in practical difficulties in the use of
the property which is zoned for residential use and is currently
being used for residential purposes. There was no showing of any
practical difficulties in the use of the property for residential
purposes in relation to the signage.

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals now adopts these
findings of fact and denies the variance request this 18th day of
August, 1993.

MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Steve Oschman, chairman

Dated:
