MOORESVILLE BOA~/) OF ZONING APPEALS
FINDINGS OF FACT

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals having reviewed the
variance request filed by Morris E. Wright and Sue Wright on the
property located at 655 S.R. 267, Mooresville, Indiana requesting
the addition of a second floor to their existing home for use as

an apartment, the Board now makes
pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4-918.4:

1. That the approval of the

the following findings of fact

variance will not be injurious

to the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the
community due to the nature of the construction and compatibility
with existing uses.

2. That the use and value of the area adjacent to the
property included in the variance will not be affected in a
substantially adverse manner due to the nature of the
construction and compatibility with the adjoining area.

3. That the need for a variance arises from some condition
peculiar to the property involved, namely, the size of the lot.

4. That the strict application of the terms of the zoning
ordinance will constitute an unnecessary hardship if applied to
the property for which the variance is sought.

5. That the approval does not interfere substantially with
the comprehensive plan adopted under the 500 series of this
chapter.

This variance approved this 21st day of July, 1993.

Date:

MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

'Steve Oschman, Chairman

Vernon Kimmel~ Secretary
