MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> <br /> The Moor'esville Board of Zoning Appeals met for' its <br />regular meeting on April 17, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. at the <br />Mooresville town Hall. <br /> <br /> Board members present were Alan Kramer, Yern Kimmel~ <br />Steve Oschman, Don Barry, Charles MoGu~re and the Board~s <br />Attorney Timothy C. Currens. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vern Kimmel advised the Board that the minutes of <br />the March 20, 1991 Zoning Board meeting needed to be changed <br />to read as Don Barry, Secretary instead of Steve Oschman, <br />President.. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Mr. Vern Kimmel <br />minutes as corrected, a second was made <br />Motion car'r~ed unanamously. <br /> <br />to approve the <br />by Mr. Steve Oschman. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roger Caperton of Caperton Development came before <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals with a request for a variance to <br />reduce the minimum size of lots from 10,000 square feet to <br />8,400 square feet; and to reduce front, set back lines from 40 <br />feet to 50 feet; and reduce minimum side yard set back ]ires <br />from 10 feet to 6 feet, in Roberson Village Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Mr. Steve Oschman of the Zoning Board asked why Caper'ton <br />Development was reducing the lot :sizes, <br /> <br /> Mr. Roger Caperton replied that they are trying to <br />approach affordable lots and housing with quality and get a <br />better house for the money. <br /> <br /> Mr. Don Barry of the Zoning Board asked Mr. Capertoe <br />what the lot w~dthe were going to be. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caperton replied that the widths of the lots would <br />be 70' x 120'. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Thompson, 1216 Driftwood Court, Roberson Woods, <br />asked about the quality that would be going into the homes in <br />Roberson Village~ <br /> <br /> Mr. Caper ton assured Mr. <br />Roberson Village would be of <br />Roberson Woods. <br /> <br />Thompson that the houses in <br />the same quality as these in <br /> <br /> <br />
