A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to .transfer ~, <br />$140,000 from Wastewater Operation Fund 301 to Wastewater Improvement Fund 304. Motion <br />carried 5-0. <br />Mark Taylor, Animal Control Officer, reported twenty-nine (29) calls, nine (9) impounds, and <br />seven (7) returns. <br />Morgan County Economic Director, John Taylor, presented the CF-1's. The companies present <br />an SB-1 at the beginning of abatement process showing their commitment. The CF-1 shows <br />their comparison of compliance with their commitment. The list of CF-1 "s is attached to these <br />minutes. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Goodwin~to <br />approve all of the CF-1's far.2008. Motion carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve the <br />payment of claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br />There being no further business before the, council at this time, a motion was made by <br />Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Goodwin to adjourn the meeting. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer <br />A meetzng was not held on June 3, 2008. <br />June 17, 2008 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session. on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at 6:00 P. M. <br />at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />Town Council members present were: Mark Harris, President, Jeff Cook, Vice President, John L <br />Clark, Ryan Goodwin, and Teiny Langley. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim <br />Currens was also present. <br />Max Holtzclaw from Grace Church gave the invocation. <br />A motion. was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to approve <br />minutes of May 20d` meeting. Motion carried 5-0. There were no minutes from June 3rd to <br />approve due to a meeting not being held: <br />Kaci Earles, 39 West Harrison Street did not appear before the Council. In her place Richard <br />.Carmichael appeared to request speed limit sigms on the alley between Harrison Street and High <br />Street. He said the alley has been used as a street instead of an alley since Family Video opened <br />and traffic cuts thru to miss the light. His thoughts were a speed bump or a 4-way stop instead of <br />a two-way stop. Joe Beikman, Street Superintendent told. the council the alley was originally <br />classified as a street. He will have to order 15 mph speed limit signs. Councilman Goodwin <br />with a second by Councilman Clark motioned to approve posting the signs in the alley from <br />Harrison Street to High Street: Motion carved 5-0. <br />
