A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to .transfer ~, $140,000 from Wastewater Operation Fund 301 to Wastewater Improvement Fund 304. Motion carried 5-0. Mark Taylor, Animal Control Officer, reported twenty-nine (29) calls, nine (9) impounds, and seven (7) returns. Morgan County Economic Director, John Taylor, presented the CF-1's. The companies present an SB-1 at the beginning of abatement process showing their commitment. The CF-1 shows their comparison of compliance with their commitment. June 17, 2008 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session. on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at 6:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. Town Council members present were: Mark Harris, President, Jeff Cook, Vice President, John L Clark, Ryan Goodwin, and Teiny Langley. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was also present. Max Holtzclaw from Grace Church gave the invocation. A motion. was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to approve minutes of May 20d` meeting. Motion carried 5-0. There were no minutes from June 3rd to approve due to a meeting not being held: Kaci Earles, 39 West Harrison Street did not appear before the Council. In her place Richard .Carmichael appeared to request speed limit sigms on the alley between Harrison Street and High Street. He said the alley has been used as a street instead of an alley since Family Video opened and traffic cuts thru to miss the light. His thoughts were a speed bump or a 4-way stop instead of a two-way stop. Joe Beikman, Street Superintendent told. the council the alley was originally classified as a street. He will have to order 15 mph speed limit signs. Councilman Goodwin with a second by Councilman Clark motioned to approve posting the signs in the alley from Harrison Street to High Street: Motion carved 5-0.
