~~ Street Superintendent, Joe Beil~nan re orted th <br />p e pavixag had begun. He also told the <br />Council he thought there was a need to re-bid the building for the Street Department far <br />the shell, wiring, and plumbing separate, and the Street Department could do same of the <br />work. Bids will be opened on May 16, 2006. A motion was made by Councilman Clark <br />with a second by Councilman Dolen to reject a bid from Dallman Contractors, LLC for <br />$272,667 unfinished and $640,913 finished. Motion carved 4-0. <br />Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor, reported twenty-six (26) calls, ten (10) impounds, <br />and eight (8) returns. <br />Morgan County EDC Director, Jvhn Taylor, presented CF-1's for Council approval. <br />EMS was not in compliance due to the fact they were a little short on employees. They <br />have nineteen instead of thirty five. Thenxtocare was down 30% on the investment of <br />their building and down 8% on investment of equipment. Council President Tom <br />Worthen told the council he had talked to Thermocore in the past and they were tied to <br />the construction industry in which the economy plays a big part. They didn't meet the <br />agreement intentionally. The statute states `they must be in substantial compliance" and <br />they are. There are three CF-1's no submitted as of yet. If they are submitted before the <br />May 2nd meeting they will be presented then because they are due by May 15,2006. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br />all CF-1's for tax abatement as listed and attached. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dalen to <br />approve payment of claims. Motion carried 4-0. <br />There being no further business to came before the Mooresville Tawn Council at this <br />time a motion was made by Councilman Dolen with a second by Councilman Clark to <br />adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on <br />Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at 6:30 P.
