Perry, Clerk-Treasure <br /> June 10 2010 <br /> The Mooresville Town Council held a Special Meeting on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 6:30 P. <br /> M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Council Members present were: Council President Ryan Goodwin, Vice President Tony <br /> Langley, John L. Clark, and Jeff Cook. Councilman Mark Harris was absent. Attorney Tim <br /> Currens, Chris Gale from HNTB, and Sandra Perry Clerk-Treasurer were all present. <br /> The purpose of the meeting was to open bids for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion. <br /> The bids were as follows: <br /> Adams Robinson Construction $12,957,000.00 <br /> Shook Construction $12,359,000.00 <br /> PAE $12,471,000.00 <br /> Wilhelm Construction 12,047,000.00 <br /> Bowen Construction 12,593,000.00 <br /> Reynolds Inc. 12,971,500.00 <br /> The bids came in significantly lower than previously estimated at$16,000,000.00. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to table the <br /> bids and award on June 15"', 2010, the next Town Council meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Attorney Currens said the awarding will be contingent upon the OKRA financing and the State <br /> Revolving Loan financing. <br /> There being no further business a motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by <br /> Councilman Langley to adjourn the meeting.
