99 A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Clark to approve findings of fact and Confirmatory Resolution#10,2011 for Equipment Technologies. Motion carried 4-0. Councilman Mark Mathis returned to the meeting. A motion was made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilman Clark to approve a request from Police Chief Viles to replace Ryan Goodwin who resigned. Motion carried 5-0. Joy Sessing, Morgan County Economic Director,presented an abatement request for � i An ermeir& Wathe n(Capital Adhesives). They are building a 5,000 square foot building to increase ca p aci ty and adding five employees, retaining 29 employees, and bring their payroll up to two million dollars a year. They qualify for a six year abatement. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Mathis to approve findings of fact and Declaratory Resolution#11, 2011 for Capital Adhesives. Motion carried 5-0. A public hearing will be set for June 7, 2011. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. Councilman Cook asked about the public meeting policy. This will be discussed at a later date. There being no further business to come before the town council at this time a motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to adjourn the meeting. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. Town Council members present were: President George Watkins, Vice President Tony Langley,Mark Mathis, and Jeff Cook. John L. Clark was absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. Jim Taylor, Grace Church, gave the prayer. A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Cook to approve minutes of May 3, 2011 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. Jim Taylor reported to the council that June 11th was Clean Up day along with Tox Away Day from 8 A. M. to 1 P. M. There will also be recycling bins at Big O Tires. He is asking residents to adopt a yard or part of a highway or street to clean up. Residents can sign up on a master map located at Autumn Whispers. Council President Watkins reported on the county e-cycle day that nearly 250 cars with electronics were at the event. A motion was made by Councilman Cook with a second by Councilman Langley to approve pay request#7 from HNTB in the amount of$604,701.50. Motion carried 4-0. The total amount spent to IINTB for the expansion to date is $3,416,029.71.
