A motion was made by Councilman.Clank with a second by Councilman Langley to approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilman Cook to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0. 4 1 George atkins, Council President ATTEST: Sandra Perry, Clerk-Treasurer January 18, 2011 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, January 18,2011, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. Council members present were: President George Watkins, Vice President Tony Langley,John L. Clark, Mark Mathis, and Jeff Cook. No members were absent. Also present were Town attorney Tire Currens and Clerk-Treasurer Sandra Perry. Councilman Watkins gave the invocation. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to approve minutes of the January 4t" , 2011 minutes. Motion carried 5-0. Chris Gale,HNTB,presented a change order request for the WWTP expansion in the amount of$48,476.00 and adding eight days to the project. The contract price was $12,047,000.00 and this change order brings the total to $12,095,476.00. Some of this change came from impacts from an unknown sewer line in Park Drive. A motion was made to approve the change order request by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook. Motion carried 5-0. Next was pay request#3 from Wilhelm Construction in the amount of$340,498.30 for the WWTP expansion. Mark Mathis request a signature line be added to the requests for Dan Tingle, Wastewater Superintendent,to sign also. A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Clark to approve the pay request and the addition of a signature line. Motion carried 5-0. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Council President Watkins to reappoint Larry Bryant to the police commission for three years. His term will end in 2013. Motion carried 5-0. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to appoint Sue Kays to the police commission to fill the democrat position her husband,Dean Kays, had held. The position is for the balance of this year and all of next year. Motion carried 5-0. Council President Watkins announced the personnel policy was not quite ready for the Town Council yet. A final draft is being written now and will be sent back to department heads. It might be ready the second meeting in February. Council President Watkins also announced he was invited to a meeting at Indianapolis Airport Authority but could not attend. He was updated on what occurred at the meeting and the IAA is working on a document as a letter of interest to the State for requesting reroute of Highway 267 out of Mooresville.
