M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Council members present were: President George Watkins, Vice President Tony <br /> Langley,John L. Clark, Mark Mathis, and Jeff Cook. No members were absent. Also <br /> present were Town attorney Tire Currens and Clerk-Treasurer Sandra Perry. <br /> Councilman Watkins gave the invocation. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to <br /> approve minutes of the January 4t" , 2011 minutes. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Chris Gale,HNTB,presented a change order request for the WWTP expansion in the <br /> amount of$48,476.00 and adding eight days to the project. The contract price was <br /> $12,047,000.00 and this change order brings the total to $12,095,476.00. Some of this <br /> change came from impacts from an unknown sewer line in Park Drive. A motion was <br /> made to approve the change order request by Councilman Clark with a second by <br /> Councilman Cook. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Next was pay request#3 from Wilhelm Construction in the amount of$340,498.30 for <br /> the WWTP expansion. Mark Mathis request a signature line be added to the requests for <br /> Dan Tingle, Wastewater Superintendent,to sign also. A motion was made by <br /> Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Clark to approve the pay request and <br /> the addition of a signature line. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Council President Watkins to <br /> reappoint Larry Bryant to the police commission for three years. His term will end in <br /> 2013. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to appoint <br /> Sue Kays to the police commission to fill the democrat position her husband,Dean Kays, <br /> had held. The position is for the balance of this year and all of next year. Motion carried <br /> 5-0. <br /> Council President Watkins announced the personnel policy was not quite ready for the <br /> Town Council yet. A final draft is being written now and will be sent back to department <br /> heads. It might be ready the second meeting in February. <br /> Council President Watkins also announced he was invited to a meeting at Indianapolis <br /> Airport Authority but could not attend. He was updated on what occurred at the meeting <br /> and the IAA is working on a document as a letter of interest to the State for requesting <br /> reroute of Highway 267 out of Mooresville. <br />
