Downey Insurance has completed a risk assessment and concerns were the Town Hall <br /> needed more non skid tape and the new Fire House on#144 did not have the snow <br /> removed completely. <br /> Legal: Attorney Tim Currens had a signatory resolution for the SRF Fund loan stating <br /> George Watkins as the new council president. A motion was made by Councilman <br /> Langley with a second by Councilman Clark to approve George Watkins as signatory. <br /> Attorney Currens announced the EDC annual report had been presented to the Town. <br /> Council. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Clark to <br /> appoint George Watkins and Harold Gutzwiller to the Mooresville Redevelopment <br /> Commission. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Council President George Watkins made the following three executive appointments to <br /> the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission, Tim Corman, Brian Nelson, and Mike <br /> Haskins. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to <br /> reappoint Charles Berwick,Darrell Brown, and Brian Anderson to the Mooresville Plan <br /> Commission. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor,reported seven(7) calls, one (1)impound, and one <br /> (1)returned. <br /> Council President Watkins talked about having conversations with the department heads <br /> about future reports. He doesn't want the public to get the idea these people aren't <br /> working if they say no report at-the council meetings. The council is looking at options. <br /> Councilman Mathis reported for Morgan County EDC. Several projects are being <br /> discussed but nothing has happened so far. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Langley to <br /> approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council at this <br /> time a motion was made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilman Clark to <br /> adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on <br /> Tuesday,February 1,2011, at 6:30 P.
