He feels the increase in traffic <br /> would cause a safety hazard, because Crosby Road is so narrow. <br /> Next Ms. Valeria Alleman, 2319 Crosby Road, was opposed to the business, because of <br /> all the cars that would be setting around and the leakage of oil getting into the ground <br /> causing pollution. They are concerned about the noise late at night caused by the traffic. <br /> Mr.Mike Swango, 315 Crosby Road, state that their property adjoins the Karr property <br /> and when he steps out on his front porch he can see their beautiful brick home. The <br /> structure they want to build will be directly in line with his front door. Two other <br /> neighbors have bought other property as it has come up for sale to keep the area as it is. <br /> He knows Mr. Karr will do his best to keep the property neat, but do the kind of business <br /> things will accumulate over time. He is also concerned that with Crosby Road being very <br /> narrow and the traffic does go very quickly that there may be a safety hazard. <br /> Ms. Pam Seals, 141. Crosby Road, stated that she was opposed to the business. Her <br /> concern is for the safety of her children over the possibility of spillage of chemicals and <br /> the traffic on Crosby Road. She would like to see the area stay as a residential area. <br /> Ms. Tammy DeWitt. 2307 Crosby Road, said her property comes up to the road next to <br /> the Karr property. They have had to move their bedroom to the other end of the house, <br /> because of the traffic noise, and she feels with more traffic the noise will be greater. She <br /> is also concerned about the sign. The road is only 30 feet wide, so the sign would be <br /> right next to her yard. <br /> Ms. Gina Nauert, 10721 N. Bethel Road, Her concern is the safety of the children who <br /> live in the Town View Apartments and Country Manor, because they play in front and <br /> behind the apartments. The apartments join up to the Karr's property. They would like <br /> for the area to stay a quite and peaceful area. <br /> Mr. Bob Pennington, 10793 N. Bethel Road, stated he hates to see a person who is <br /> ambitious have an obstacle in his way, but he would like to see the area stay as a lovely <br /> rural area. He would be opposed to this project. <br /> Mr. Bruce Fairhurst, 1.0869 N. Bethel Road, stated he could see the property in question <br /> from his back patio. He has lived there for 35 years and would like to see the area stay as <br /> a quite and peaceful community. <br /> Mr. Karr asks if he could address some of the comments made by concerned neighbors. <br /> He can appreciate their concerns about the traffic, but he does not want this confused <br /> with a commercial operation with bigger trucks, that is not his intension. His intension is <br /> automotive repair with about two to three cars a night that is about all one person could <br /> handle. He is not trying to increase the traffic for the area and he agrees with the <br /> property value and understands the situation totally. He does not feel there will be a lot <br />
