The approval will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals, and
general welfare of the community due to the following:
2. The use and value of the area adjacent to the property included in the variance
will not be affect in a substantially adverse manner due to the following: The
use would lower the property value in B-3 to 1-1 use and the Agriculture and
Residential use.
3. The need for the variance arises from some condition peculiar to the property
involved, namely: No need shown.
4. The strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance will constitute an
unnecessary hardship if applied to the property for which the variance is
sought;namely: No hardship shown.
5. The approval does no interfere substantially with the Comprehensive Plan
adopted under the 500 series of this Chapter, namely because: This would
interfere, as it is a substantial change with the I-1 or B-3 use.
Mr. Jon Swisher, seconded by Mr. Allan Kramer, made a motion to deny the variance
based on the findings of facts to operate the auto repair business at 10890 N Interurban
Lane. Motion carried 4-0.
Next on the agenda was the reorganization of the board. Mr. Barry asked for
nominations for Chairman of the board.
Mr. Alan Kramer, second by Mr. Mike Young, made a motion to nominate Mr. Jeff
Justus as Chairman.
