- 2 -
Vehicles will also be towed to our shop directly from the accident scenes. However,
this should only occur during our normal business hours. On weekends we do not
accept vehicles being"dropped"at our facility without our knowledge.
Those vehicles have to remain with the towing service until the following normal
business hours. This prevents the facility from being"littered"with unsightly and
crashed vehicles. These driveable or non-driveable vehicles will be taken to the inside
of the facility shortly after arrival.
Occasionally vehicles are being considered"total losses", meaning"exceeding the
value of the vehicle",by insurance companies. These vehicles would be stored
outside only on a short term basis in the fenced in area and away from public view.
Our longtime experience with insurance companies shows that those vehicles are
normally removed within no more than 2 to 5 days per our request.
We anticipate to have no more than 2 to 5 vehicles, on a revolving basis, outside in
the fenced in area and away from the public view. We can however not predict the
business flow at this location. The number could potentially change either way for
about 2 or 3 days depending on workload.
Another concern we would like to address is the subject of waste removal. We have
existing contracts with Waste Management of Indiana and Sarco Recycling. These
contracts will remain with us at the new facility. Sheet Metals, Copper, Aluminum
and all other waste will be collected on a regular basis by these companies.
Again, we desire to be a state of the art facility and a good corporate citizen, not an
eye sore to the community.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to be able to explain our operations. We
look:forward to our move to Mooresville.
Respectfully,
Chisel Tidd re nt
MI Perkins;V. President
GT Collision, Inc.
•
